Welcome

Welcome to the start of a new blog, The Diary of a Dreamer. My name is Jenn. I've been blogging since 2011 when I was deployed to Afghanistan, using names like Ramblings of a Nutcase, The Quirky Craftsters, and JMC Crafts. I've had issues remaining consistent with my blogging, but I am hoping that will change. If you want to know more about me, check out my About me page.

Life has been so hectic lately, that I have no idea what is going on half of the time. Work has been stupid crazy and honestly I have never been more unhappy. My boss has tried to ruin my career twice now with close succession and I don't enjoy my job nearly as much as I used too.

I am trying my best to get life all sorted out. I started building my savings account and working toward a travel fund and finding my place here. I want to save up more money and stop living paycheck to paycheck. The Army has been takings its precious time to get my pay issues sorted out, which does not help me have warm and fuzzy feelings about the place that I work.

I haven't traveled nearly as much as I had hoped I would upon finding out that I was heading to Germany, due to working more often then not. I've only had a couple of day trips with coworkers and its still not a lot of exploring really. I spend most of my free time (which isn't a lot) hanging out either in my own room watching my crime dramas or hanging out in Stuttgart.

I am still trying to figure out if I am getting out of the military or staying in. If I stay in will I stay ATC or change jobs? What would I change too? Public Affairs Specialist, 42A who does everyone's paperwork (cuz one thing I am good at is paperwork).... or would I find something else? Or do I get out and focus solely on college and work on my photography business. At first it wouldn't be a success so I would need to do something else to supplement income- which is partially why I will be going to school as well. There is always my GI Bill, which helps me with school... so that is a good start. I am working on a BA in Small Business Management.

I am working towards a healthier life. I need to drink more water then I currently do, but I did start drinking less soda. I've switched to gaterade... but it is little steps for me. It's kind of hard because Germany's water is really hard so I drink bottled water a LOT.... let me just say I miss drinking out of a tap or a filter.... this constantly buying bottles makes it a little hard because bottled water here isn't cheap. You buy a 6-8 pack of water bottles here for the same price as a 24 pack of water in the states, however the bottles here are bigger. I've been working out more, going to the gym with a coworker of mine. I've been trying to eat healthier, but its a little difficult with my work hours and my obnoxiously tiny fridge and lack of a decent kitchen area. Seriously!

Enough of my random rambles. I am going to work on some more posts for this here new blog and hopefully I can maintain a productive blog from here on out.

Love,
Jenn
