"I Love" Sundays v.77

Happy Sunday dearest Dreamers!

I hope this post finds you well!

** It's been a busy week around the Dreamer house this week. Since I had a week off from school between Summer II ending and Fall starting this coming Tuesday, I tried to get a lot of work done for my new business as well as this blog.

I know I've been failing you all here, and I'm not sure who even still reads this blog, so today I decided that I am going to (finally) do better and focus a lot more on blogging.

If you hadn't guessed from the different graphic above, I am working on some new graphics for the blog as well as rebranding the whole thing entirely. Long story for a separate post (I know... I always say that and forget the separate post....)

** Speaking of my new business, I have a client who has agreed to work with me starting on 01 September for at least a month! Super excited there.

** Today I went to Michaels to help Lee look for something he needed... needless to say, I can't wait until I get my disability and housing money because once the bills are all paid, I am going to get some of their Halloween stuff early before the price goes up!

** I've been working on a gift for Lee, which he is getting tomorrow, and I can proudly say that the entire project is complete (well... up to this point it is complete). It's kind of an ongoing project that can be added too as time goes on. Either way... I am finally caught up and it is ready for him for tomorrow.

** I got some work done this week to add to my services portfolio, which is super exciting to me. People who consider hiring me keep asking for my portfolio and then decide against hiring me because it's not all that extensive (and because I am new to the industry) so I am forever grateful to be able to add to my portfolio whenever I can.

** Lee and I had the house to ourselves for most of the week. Amy went to go see her parents and Mem in VA before he comes home this week from his summer vacation. I definitely miss the kid, but the quiet has been super nice. Been able to better focus on my business when it's just me at the house instead of getting side tracked by other conversations.

** Last but not least, do you guys know Kimi over at Kimi Who? Well, if you don't, I think you really should because not only is she an awesome person, a fantastic blogger, and incredibly talented, but this week she decided to open up her own creative online business to sell media kits and other things like that! Stuff that she has hand designed she is willing to sell to those of us (ME) not so photoshop inclined! They are super cool too! Make sure you check her out and give her some love!

December Goals

Hello dearies!

Can you believe that it is already almost December?
I already have posts lined up for the 29th and 30th of this month, which is why this is being posted today!

December Goals:

** Complete December Daily- I have plans to work on it every day, but I don't know that it will be successful. At the very least, I want to work on it weekly and get it complete ASAP.

** Videos-  Either done daily or weekly as able.

** Send out Christmas Cards- I am working to get pictures taken so I can actually complete this task. Hopefully that will be done this week.

** Work on this blog- It's almost the new year, which means I want to improve things on this blog. I want to build a better advertising program and actually get that started. I want to start a newsletter that you all would be interested in. Send me ideas of things you guys would like to see in a newsletter.

** Post at least 2 times a week-  In the last few months I've either only posted on Sundays, or have to do a lot of backdated posts because I've been busy. I want to make this blog interesting again, which means I want to post more often. My goal is to post at least twice a week!

** Handmake at least 3 gifts- Since I love making things by hand, I figured that this one is perfect. It's Christmas season and I can definitely try to make gifts by hand! Let's do it

** Find a place to live- I was considering renting a house (it's the same price as renting an apartment here most of the time), but I would need help with the lawn and what not. I am looking at a couple of apartment complex's near where I am currently staying. Bonus: Actually move in to a place!

Recap of Nov Goals:

** Finish October Daily- Check

** Share a video for each week of the project-  Wasn't posted every week, but there is a video for every week

** Prepare for December Daily- All ready to go!

** Share a video of my completed December Plan book- check

** Read an entire book- Negatron Ghost Rider. I am part way through Cinder, but I haven't had time to complete it because I was busier then I expected to be.

** Pack my room- done

** Prepare car for transport- This was a nightmare, but it is shipped

** Photograph Eilene's Hope Session- We never got a chance to do this because her mother had to leave earlier then expected due to family stuff.

** Look for a place to live- Still an ongoing process. This is a little more difficult when you're overseas and 6 hours ahead of everyone else. Makes it hard to talk on the phone.

** Inventory crafts to sell- Done. Now to just get everything made and a place to sell

** 30 Days of Thankful project- This was completed at the bottom of each day in my November Plan book.

** Scrap-journaling mini series or YT series- Still mulling over this idea in my head. Now that the move is almost here, I can apply more time to process this idea.

Do you have any December Goals that you would be willing to share? If you have a post already, share it so we can help keep each other accountable!

New plans

Hello friends and happy Tuesday!
I hope this post finds you all well.
I am just dropping in real quick to give you guys and gals a heads up!

I have been considering a new avenue for this brand along with my photography business and I have some plans in the works! This means there will be changes around here put into effect in the upcoming months and hopefully will be done by the start of August! I'll m ake sure to keep you all updated, and make sure you check out the rest of my social media as well for sneak peaks and special information.

Relay for Life went quite well. It was ridiculously hot, which we were not counting on. We luckily had a tent from the Boy Scouts secured for us. Mo had to go get some sunscreen and bug spray because we were being eaten alive! My team rasied $70 and 70 Euro in cash, which we turned in before we left Saturday night. Although there were only 4 people that showed up for my team that day, we still had a pretty good time. We went around the track quite a few times, Mo helped me create a cool banner for our team, and we had fun at the games. We didn't stay the whole time, lefts hortly after 8 pm due to the bugs as well as Mo's allergies and my need to lay down after all the traveling.

Also! Next monday starts registration for RUKristin's Find Your Voice workshop which opens on 01 July! Remember that this is a free workshop, but you still need to register for it! This is going to be a fun six-week course on learning to find your storytelling voice, no matter if you're a scrapbooker, photographer, blogger, writer... it doesn't matter! I am looking forward to this workshop! I hope you guys and girls will join me!

Make sure you stick around and see all the good things coming up here in the near future. I am going to be a busy busy bee!
